The main idea here was a sexy woman who was the embodiment of a black widow spider. I did a bit of pondering and then I was watching Dr.Who on the BBC one Saturday night and just before the program there was this 'indent' that had three acrobats hanging from a warehouse roof from bright red sheets. Great! So I quickly sketched out concept 1.
Concept one was not right, and we needed to show a bit of arse as well as de boobies, so on to concept 2. #2 was a hit, the pose and the colours, but not the face, eyes or short hair. I went on and did concept 3 which I personally love, I think she looks really creepy!. But it was back to refining concept 2 so I did some line art (4) and coloured her (5). While waiting for feedback I tried to enhance the creepiness of concept 3 by doing concept 6, which I thought was ace. Reminded me of the spooky woman from "The Ring".
But no, I had to behave myself and stick with the colour palette and pose and feel of the original concept 2. And so, many hours later, we have the finished sexy article. I have to say I'm most proud of her fishnets which I did in Flash, bizarrely.
